I'm very thrilled to have my limited edition print 'Resting in a fuzzy zone' selling exclusively through Auguste Clown Gallery in conjunction with Frame by Design here in Melbourne! The house line up of International artists is amazing, with some locals like Lang Leav, Jason Jacenko and myself representing.
"Auguste Clown Gallery is an exciting new Pop Surrealist Gallery opening up this Friday at artist Jason Jacenko‘s renowned 696 INK on Sydney Rd in Coburg. Jason’s outstanding track record as an internationally exhibiting Pop Surrealist artist and tattooist makes 696 INK the perfect hub for a new bonanza of talent and experience.
The Opening Exhibition ‘Runaway Circus‘ will host original art work as well as limited edition prints from over 32 international artists. Including Chet Zar, Dan May, Matt Dangler, Dilka Bear, Ania Tomika, Leslie Ditto, Jeremiah Ketner, and Tiffany Lui just to name a few, with Jason Jacenko and Maria Rozalia Finna representing local talent.
Auguste Clown is the conception of power couple Leigh and Jessica Cornish. Jessica has an arts and public relations background and experience working in public Gallery programs. Whereas Leigh has been an exhibition framer for over 20 years, helping to prepare exhibitions on the local art scene and for international artists showcasing their work in Australia.
Auguste Clown promises to excite, inspire and provide an abundance of creative culture for enthusiasts of Pop Surrealism which makes it unique and unparalleled on the local art scene, and it’s not just the locals who are thrilled, with their first pre sale being made to international admirer and comedian, Rosie O’Donnell.
The Opening will be a truly festive occasion, an eye feast and birth of a new local creative platform that is worthy of celebration!"
