My previous painting 'Escenta' was inspired by this movie, It's a wonderful Russian adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's 'The Little Mermaid ', made in 1976. It's not quite on the same level as 'Valerie and her week of wonders' but still really delightful. If you like pretty and enchanted stories do look it up.
